Norfolk Road between Corinna and Balfour has been closed to through traffic to conduct engineering assessments on the Lindsay River Bridge.

Norfolk Road between Corinna and Balfour was closed to through traffic on 6 October 2021 following a routine maintenance inspection that identified a damaged beam on the single-lane timber bridge, and the bridge remains closed.

Anyone intending to travel between Corinna and locations to the north of Lindsay River, such as Temma, Marrawah and Togari should take alternative routes, signs warning of the closure have been placed at key detour points.
