TASMANIA MOTORCYCLE COUNCIL INC. 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SATURDAY 21ST AUGUST 2021.

AT IRON HORSE BAR AND GRILL,

ADJACENT RICHARDSON'S HARLEY-DAVIDSON. 

 

Meeting Open. 

Meeting was opened at 10.41am.

 

Present. 

Paul Bullock, Simon Hrycyszyn, Peter Fleming, Henk Van Zetten,  Bron McCarthy, Mick Boyd, Danny Penney, Brian Hornsey, Terrence Lovell, Debbie Kent, Michael Hammersley,  Chris Rousel, Darren Shaw, Damien Briggs, Steve Hammersley,  Grant Rockcliff, Chantelle Murray, Garry Kent.

Minutes of Previous AGM.

Minutes of the previous AGM held 15th August 2020 were moved by Simon, and seconded by Mick to be accepted as circulated. Carried. 

 

Business Arising. 

Nil.

 

President's Annual Report.

A brief verbal report was provided by Paul.

Simon moved to thank Paul for his great contribution to the TMC, and acknowledged the time he has spent on TMC matters over the last decade. Seconded by acclamation.

 

Treasurers Report. 

Brian presented a well prepared written report as attached. 

It was noted our financial position had improved dramatically since he took on the role two years ago. 

It was also acknowledged that the balance sheet had improved due to the great support of two key sponsors. 

Brian moved that his report be accepted. Seconded by Mick. Carried. 

 

 

 

Election of Office Bearers. 

There were no dual nominations for any of the positions. Nominations were therefore accepted as follows. 

 

President  -  Mick Boyd.

Vice President  -  Simon Hrycyszyn. 

Treasurer  -  Brian Hornsey. 

Secretary  -  Bronwyn McCarthy. 

Public Officer  -  Paul Bullock. 

 

Executive Committee. 

Paul advised the meeting that committee positions will be filled by the incoming Executive mentioned above. 

 

General Business. 

Nil

 

Next AGM. 

Will be held at 10.30am on Saturday 20th August 2022.
